1) Why are prices so low?
Year 1: we take 0% platform margin. 100% of the payment goes to the partner and payment processing. We absorb operating costs.
- Goal: bookings, not profit. We’re intentionally running at a planned loss to earn trust and prove the model.
- What we gain: real demand, real feedback, and clean data to improve pricing, quality, and support.
2) What’s the long term vision?
- Earn trust: deliver the most cost-effective price with reliable service.
- Build both sides: grow travelers who pay less and partners who keep more.
- Use the data: bookings + NPS + ops metrics strengthen our unit-economics story for investors.
We expect a loss in Year 1 and will work hard to minimize it while improving product and operations.
3) How does this become sustainable?
- Year 2: modest, transparent fee. A small published platform fee keeps total price competitive and clear.
- Scale fairly: as bookings grow, we stay disciplined on costs so partners continue to win and guests still pay less.
- Volume drives profit: by Year 2, higher booking numbers mean even a low margin yields meaningful returns.
